HIHS has a CAFE this April

HIHS has a new cafe! Well, but not the cafe that sells food.

CAFE in short, stands for Creative Arts For Everyone, organized by the Aesthetics Department for the Aesthetics month this April.

Cafe@HIHS consists of 3 components, namely the Cafe D'amore concert, Entree the art exhibition and the Art Alfresco.

"It wasn't easy organising this event. Especially the Art Alfresco where all the teachers had to come up with ideas to beautify the school." said Mrs Zailee, one of the organizers for the Aesthe Month.
Mrs Geraldine Tay commented that the umbrella and wrapped trees are all done by our teachers and it shows that the teachers are united.

Mrs Tay also added that she likes the exhibition the most as she could see all the art works by the teachers and students.

Certainly, music is an essential thing in a cafe.

Thus, the Aesthetic Department planned a concert - Cafe D'amore put together by the performing arts group.

It was all the hard work that the teachers and students put in for the month of April.

"It's so tedious! We had to come up with ideas on how to showcase our projects," commented Timothy Teo, an art student of HIHS.

It is really a stressful month especially to the Aesthetic teachers.

A lot was effort was put in just to let the students know what aesthetic really means.

"I hope everyone can enjoy the works of the teachers as much as I do. Kudos to all of them!" said Teo joyfully.
